Two weeks. That is how long it took us to bring up Odoo 20 on our servers, with every new feature that comes with it. It is live now — if your instance runs with us, the engine underneath it just moved forward.

The version upgrade is only part of the story. Alongside it we shipped a set of changes to the management console, the place where you run your Odoo hosting from inside Odoo itself.

What landed

  • An MCP server so your agent can work on your hosting directly — restart the server, upload modules, add and check domains, manage backups, read the logfiles.
  • Logfiles you can keep — download and archive them instead of watching a live view and hoping the right lines are still there.
  • A free backup scheme for everyone — the least glamorous part of hosting, and the one you miss most when it is gone.
  • A better AI server-management backend — the layer that connects the agent-facing tools to the hosting underneath.

Why it matters

Nothing here asks you to learn a new product. The console stays where it was; the upgrade makes it do more of the routine work for you, and the parts you would rather not think about — backups, logs, restarts — now have a baseline everyone gets.

Over the next two weeks we take one piece at a time: the MCP server first, then the quieter half — backups and logfiles. Follow along.
